Art Tip

Updated: Aug 8, 2021

Do you ever think that your watercolor painting is too far gone? You can bring new life to a watercolor painting by adding colored pencil! It is interesting to add colored pencil to watercolor paintings to bring more dimension and highlights! It is amazing how just adding a bit can really change your perspective. I keep Prismacolor Premiers and Faber-Castelle Polychromos (my favorite) near my desk so they are handy. If you don't want to invest in a whole set just get a few darks and lights to enhance any painting. They sell them open stock at Art Stores. I would buy the largest set you can afford. Try it and you will have a blast enhancing or just making marks! They are wonderful in paintings on their own as well!
